Saffron Sunshine

This is a Saffron Finch, a common and welcome sight in the Hawaiian Islands. They are often seen in pairs, hopping around on lawns looking for small seeds and insects, or perched high  in the palm trees. This one looked particularly beautiful perched in the palms with the morning sun striking it's bright yellow feathers in a way that caused him to glow. This is part of set of two miniature Hawaiian bird paintings, but can be sold separately. The framed size is 6" x 6" and framed to either hang on a wall or set on a table or desktop. This is how they look framed.
